About Me
I started learning photography basics as a teenager in 4H. I found that I had an eye for composition and was particularly drawn to nature. I prefer manual manipulation of the lens and settings of the camera versus computer editing. Spending extra time outside getting the right shot is more meaningful than being able to create clouds or vivid colors using software.
My favorite subjects are plants and flowers, but I also love capturing ancient and historical structures including castles, cathedrals, and cemeteries.
Over the years I have used several different camera setups from Canon to Sony to Nikon, from point and shoot to fully manual.
I hope you find my galleries inspiring to live life with #nofilter!
